These are perfect for when you have 2 network cables where, when joined, will give you the length you need. Perfect if you repair or build pc's and you don't want to be plugging/unplugging your main cable from your router. Just use a shorter cable between this adapter and the pc you are working on, especially if the router connection is not the easiest connection to reach if you had to replace it due to constant plugging/unplugging.

Got short cables? I used a cable with a broken tab and just glued it to this.

tested them. all work. high speed. The connection on some of the ports is pretty tight, kind of have to jam the cable in.
