I like that you can remove this. We purchased for mounting a back-rest mount tour bag for a 1500 mile trip. This being our second bike and not needed for passenger, that wasn't really a consideration. It was a little complicated to install for someone who does not do this kind of stuff regularly. I am a mechanic, so I had no problems with it at all. It is made way better than I thought it would have been. It installed in about twenty minutes. Looks good and the wife loves that the backrest is adjustable. Installed on a 2002 ultra.

Rack and backrest itself are nice. The mounting hardware is just ok. Mine was missing 2 of the longer bolts needed for my application and one of the plastic bushings that the rack actually mounts on has broken already. But for the price it's ok. I would buy the rack and backrest again but would probably not get the mount kit. 5 stars for the rack and sissy bar, 2 stars for the mount kit.
