Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had been a 20 year user of Braun Series 7 shavers, and I wore them out. So I tried a Braun Series 9, which was severely disappointing. UpDate: Unfortunately it fell off of my bathroom counter and exploded the trimmer I understand they’re not supposed to be dropped per-se but I’ve got one that’s about 15+ years old that I dropped probably a dozen times so not very durable minus one and a half stars if I could but I can’t so I’ll leave at four because it does shave really well! it is difficult to find a shaver that can by used with external power source (plug in wall). most now have to be charged and run off battery (this one can do both). the problem is batteries have a finite life span so your charger will only last a couple years. i still have my old plug in rotary shaver that is over 30 years old and works fine, the problem is, the blades are getting dull. 3 replacement blades for my rotary shaver cost more than this new foil shaver. foil shavers work very well ...
