We only needed one of these, and let me tell you, they are LOUD. We have since not had the need for these, but I gave a couple away to my neighbors at my old place before we moved out. Definitely helped ease my anxiety at night, since I lived in a part of town where people would check car & apartment doors to see if they were unlocked.
