Holds a lot of food. Very strong. It’s a bit tall. I would stay this should be for a medium/large dog. He does move it around a bit but that’s because we will freeze his food and he really gets into. Normal food, doesn’t slip that much.

We've used this for about a week . My 100 pound dog is down 10 pounds, with 20 to go,. He used to inhale his bowl in less than a minute, often choking and then vomiting after. With this puzzle style bowl, it forces them to use their tongues and it took mine 15 minutes to eat. He has already stopped acting like he was going to have a stroke if he wasn't fed b4 7pm. The photos show dishwasher or hand wash. I didn’t read the specifications that say hand wash only. The dishwasher will melt the side of the bowl.Otherwise the bowl is exactly the right size for my Rottweilers. I purchased two of them and it helped slow them down about halfway through once the food gets an inch or so below the slow feeding section.The size of the bowl holds at least 800 grams of kibble which is close to 8 cups.
