This Golf Putting Mat With Automatic Ball Return is fun but I'm not sure I'd call the ball return automatic. I mean, technically it is but, it's not an electric ball return, it's low tech. It just uses gravity. When you hit the ball into the hole, or into the track behind it, it's supposed to roll out onto the track on the right and follow it all the way back to you. This is a nice putting mat to keep you active during the off season or when you have some free time. Overall, it assembles easily and is small enough to put away or keep out if you have available space. The problem, as others have mentioned, is the return is pretty level so the ball return doesn't work as one would hope. You will have to frequently go and retrieve your golf balls to continue practicing putting. Overall, it is a great price and is well designed. One little issues makes it hard...

This Amazon Basics putting mat is a really handy tool to hone my putts from 3 feet to about 8 feet. The alignment aids help to see where you putter head travels and also correct open or closed faces on you putter. The ball does return back to you every time providing you hit it with enough speed to get up the include to the hole. If you miss the hole, the ball is collected in an opening at the back and if you hole the putt, the ball will exit the hole on a side rail. I quickly discovered that...

My husband loves this the only problem we have is where the ball comes back on the side it falls off too easily the little ramp so that's my only complaint other than that my husband loves this
