My set lasted almost 2 years, and I fell asleep in them nightly to drown out noise. They are smaller than any other I've found, and the double silicon seal makes them better at noise reduction than clunky noise canceling sets. earbuds, or as i was informed, jbuds, are a huge improvement over their predecessors. it's right next to feeling nothing. some day we'll click a button and the sound will come to us directly without wires and without bothering neighbors. in the mean time, these are the solution. i've used sony and skullsomething and they are all good. the only problem i have with the maxell is that the wires tangle up and it's an adventure in straightening them out. but i wanted black and couldn't find any ot...

Very disappointed in Maxell. Fell apart on second day of use; very poorly made. Are their products all made in China now? (gave it one star because it wouldn't let me submit my experience without it, but it did not earn a single star in my opinion))

bought these when they were only $3.00. loved them. just wished i had bought more of them at $3.00. I go through at least 4 pair of ear buds a year. these are much better then dollar store. now if they can get the price down to $4.75 with shipping i would buy them again.
