I have only had the pair for a day, but the facts existed when I made my order.I only had basic 1.5Ah batteries to run my DeWalts. Drill and impact driver were okay with that, but my recip saw labored (1/2hour run time cutting sheetrock demolition, and cutting out a dozen rusted 5/16" bolts took two batteries). I had to upgrade my arsenal, but which deal?Do the analysis like I did. Current prices (Xmas 2017) have a pair of 3.0Ah for $100, pair of 4.0Ah for $130, and the pair of 6.0Ah for $150...

Not inexpensive, but reliable power. Guaranteed , and easy to replace if they peter out too soon, something that happens infrequently. If kept charged, you will have power at your fingertips. I charge ALL of my batteries once a month. Know that as amperage and power increase, so does the size, weight and size.
