Do not buy this product. Bought and it was defective. The product spazzed in and out for a minute or two the just didn’t work at all. Made a return but still needed the charger so I opted for them to send another one, the “new” one does the exact same thing. TL;DR: Cable works great, as long as the USB-C charger has EXACTLY 15 V, 3 A as one of its output modes. "ONN." brand 67 W laptop charger from Walmart works great.This cable works excellent as a more travel-friendly charging cable for my old Pro 4. Microsoft charging cables fail too often and have the integrated charger. A USB-C cable is a much better choice. Just make sure you get a minimum 60-watt USB-C charger.

The cable connection is fine, but it doesn't work on planes, computer USB ports, or other other standard USB situations. It needs a USB port for plug in to a wall to work. I was hoping for a surface to USB port to use on the plane charging option. This is not it due to amperage issues. It does work with a USB to three prong wall adapter I have. So, I'll keep it as a small computer bag option for my surface there. But its not for plane use like I hoped.
