I love my Sennheiser HD660s headphones, but let's face it, the stock cable is simply far too long for daily use. Add in the fact that I use a 3.5mm headphone connection, and it just doesn't make much sense to use the OEM cable from Sennheiser. Did some looking here on Amazon, and I settled upon this cable from New Fantasia. The length is absolutely perfect at just a bit over a meter long, and terminates in a standard 3.5mm connection. Ordered this to replace my original cable for my HD580 headphones, since one of the ears was flaking in and out as I moved my head. The braided cable used for the bottom half feels very nice and durable, and I especially like the spring at the end of the cable to reduce strain. You don't have to read too far into other reviews to find out that Sennheiser often includes ridiculously long cables in with their mid-fi/studio quality headphones. I get why they used to do it, but now technology has progressed beyond everyone having to have a dedicated area of their house or studio for using these headphones. These cables are excellent both in audio quality and in length for my application. I have my tower computer setting on the top of my desk. These cables are just the right length to provide comfort and ease of access without dragging items off the desktop. The cables are well made. These sound great and I like construction and materials. No sound drop off from the original mile long cable on my 650’sPlugs ARE marked L & R although quite faintly.And now?…..letters face in OR out?Good buy and great value. Time will tell on durability.
