I sometimes find myself modifying my LAN, adding to it and making my own cables. In some instances I am extending new wires to new locations and these connectors are easy to use, consistent and provide a good connection to the network. I do not have testing equipment to be able to tell what he speed is, but the cables always seem to work well.

These work as expected and are cheaper than buying at the local store. Suggest having plenty around before starting any project and strongly suggest investing in the correct crimping tool before starting any mproject more than a patch cable to save a lot of headaches. Cat5 cable and RJ45 connectors are really easy with the right equipment and a pain in the rear without it.

Tried many different connectors, these are the best. Why? Because they snap in and hold the connection perfectly. I have bought 3 or 4 packs of these because I know they are always reliable. I have purchased cheaper versions that I thought would be "fine", but every time I was disappointed, why? Because the little tab that holds the whole connector in doesn't keep the connector in place. Basic RJ45 plug that worked great with my network connections. These are a lot cheaper than the store bought one in price. They do cost more than others are selling them for but are worth it. I have use 30 so far and not one problem. You do have to align the wires when you insert the plug because these are not pass through. Take your time and do it right the first time and you wont have any problems.

After trying so many different products these were the one i was most comfortable with in terms of performance and easyness of actually putting into the cable.Go for it!
