First of all, do not use extracts for baking. You must use an emulsified flavoring. In other words, oil-based. Extracts are mostly alcohol-based and are not stable when heated. Extracts can also affect cold items like ice cream. They are mostly used in drinks and cool items. Do not bake with them. Not worth the $$..you cannot taste the Mango flavor once product is cooked. Somewhere in the cooking process it looses its flavor. Made 2 cakes the first one used 4 teaspoons to the batter the second cake used 6 teaspoons. I added it to the frosting on the second cake and still under performed. Would return if I hadn’t used so much of the product.
