I’m not new to making espresso. The consistency of this machine is on point. The espresso not watery and crema is amazing. The flavor is full every time. By time I wake up and press the on button I have a cappuccino in 3 minutes. Don’t pack it to much. There are extra setting to turn a single shot a little longer or shorter and the same for a double shot. The machine will turn off automatically after 9 minutes although you can set it for 30 or like 3 hrs automatic turn off which is great for ...

This product by Smeg is not just about the great design. If you follow the programming instructions and grind espresso beans very, very finely (and tamp very firmly ... more than usual in grind and tamp), you'll get an amazing shot of espresso. The steamer works fantastic as well and with rapid heat time. This machine is superb - especially for the price!

We had this same machine for about 3.5 years but it quit working due to some software failure. We liked the style and size so we unfortunately decided to replace the broken one. It died just like the first one after only 3 months. Some software bug prevents any of the buttons from doing working. Reset has no effect. Called support line.
