This is nice and warm jacket and kept me dry during the rain. The fit was perfect for me as described in the sizing chart. Enough room to wear a heavy flannel shirt underneath and still be flexible.The only issue I had was with the zippers. They should be more heavy duty. The first jacket I got, the zipper failed after a few days but the replacement was quick and the new jacket has held up so far. For being an "active" ski jacket, i would assume the zipper would be able to handle more stress....

I should describe some concerns first. The hook and loop (basically Velcro) along the front zipper is so strong that I think it may rip the loop side off the weakly sewn patches. The pockets are weak. You cannot carry much weight in them. The exterior appears to be and has a quad pattern, but nowhere was it mentioned that the exterior is rip-stop it is manufactured. So is it? Bought this last summer for a trip to Scotland and it was perfect. Combined it with a pair of waterproof pants and both were perfect for the rainy days. Size was right on. Definitely appreciated the water repellency and the hood - both came in handy. Great buy, period!
