I bought this for an Akorn kamado and it fits perfect. I can still fit the smoking stone on top of it, and the porcelain coating is thick and has so far held up well to heat. Best of all I don’t have to worry about rust. Love this basket. Far far superior to any others I have owned.

It's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Makes it easy and convenient to clear out the ash while keeping your reasonably sized lump charcoal ready to add too for your next cook. The ceramic coating is very nice. The only moderate downside I had was my Kamado Joe Classic's searing rack sits on the handles and would hold the rack up about an 1/8 of an inch. Really doesn't affect me much at all, but it might be worth considering if you're using a similar cooker.

Works nicely makes sifting the ashes out and leaving behind leftover lumps of wood not yet burned ready for the next BBQ. This is more for the 18 inch ceramic grills and not the 22inch I can find at Costco by Louisiana grills which is what I have, also similar to the Pit Boss. It’s simply much smaller than I need as it does not extend out to the edges for maximum wood capacity.On the other hand I was able to do a snake layout of lump wood around the putter edges for a constant 210 degree burn...

I cancelled an order for a basket made by another manufacturer after reading reviews about the bottom separating because of insufficient spot welds. In fact I am returning yet another basket ( a gift) made by another manufacturer because when I opened the box I found the bottom of the basket to be held to the top by four small spot welds. This basket sold by delsbbq is far superior in construction because the spot welds are on every rung on the basket bottom and the whole basket has many weld...

The grill I have should have come with this and since it didn't, I should've bought one before now. I can't believe the difference it makes. I have changed from charcoal briquettes to lump charcoal and have had to refill the basket yet. I have used it twice and still have over half my charcoal left. So much easier to shut down the grill and extinguish the burning with this basket. I use mine in a Char-griller Akorn.
