The first model had only the traditional iPhone type charging cord and is 2 5/8" x 4" (small enough to fit in a pocketbook), the case is pink plastic and it does get warm when charging the phone. The case around this charger is very insulated all around while staying slim in my purse side pocket. It's one of the best that I have used!
