The power brick actually says Acer on it, to my surprise. There is also an LED indicator that lights green when plugged into AC power. Original charger did not have that.The detachable outlet to brick cord (3 prong plugs) is only about 2 feet long, and the brick to laptop cord is 3 feet long, so 5 foot distance from AC overall. Even one extra foot would be preferred.
