These master locks are great! I was inspired to buy one for several reasons. I have smart locks on my home. I am always concerned the battery willfail. Having a key near buy is a reassuring back up. The also have been around for a long time. I see Air B & Bs have them as a way to get in if the owner is around to let you in.It is sturdy, Strong and easy to install. I came with screws. Unbelievably, during my 19 years of homeownership, the way I've kept a spare key outside the house is by putting it inside a fake rock (from Brookstone) designed to hold a key. Not real safe, huh? We attached this easily to our porch railing with a few screws. It holds nice an tight. The box is made with durable plastic making it weather proof. There is enough room for potentially 4-5 keys. However there is not a hook on the inside so the keys just kinda sit in there.
