The four stars are because the price is sooo much lower than Brother branded toner. HOWEVER, you do get what you pay for. First, these cartridges get roughly 1,625 impressions per cartridge (vs branded 3,000 - 4,500). And the print quality is lower. If you are just trying to get inexpensive ink to print colored text pages without any detailed images, this ink is fine. You can read everything and the consistency is fine.
