Best stainless steel tape measure I've ever owned for building pressure treated structures and docks in the jungles of Panama where it's always around salt water (not in salt water!) I love that even in the rain this tape doesn't rust like my old Stanley did. The numbers are simple to read down to the 1/16" marks. I prefer the grey tape background as on a bright sunny day the matte finish doesn't reflect and blind you. I love that it is marked on the bottom side of the tape, in a year I think I used that option twice though, so it's really not a game changer...just nice to know it's there when it does make it easier. Have bought many tapes over the years. The problem has always been how the tapes rust and thus deteriorate to a point where the tape breaks or the spring breaks. This stainless steel tape has lasted me a couple of years. I use the tape quite often for work so this can handle a beating. This is my second stainless steel tape.
