i'm quite familiar with sea to summit and have a decent amount of their gear. they're an extremely reputable company that makes fantastic products that just last forever. so when i ended up needing a new sleeping mat for my kit getting this new model from them was an easy choice.it comes in several sizes, and i opted for the rectangular normal one. it adds a touch of weight over the regular one, but the wider profile suits my sleeping style better and the weight impact was honestly negligible...

This mat is very comfortable to sleep on as a stand alone mat. When combined with a foam sleeping pad, this is on another level! I got the largest option and have plenty of room to move around in a rectangular sleeping bag. The thickness is close to three inches once it is fully inflated and allows me to lay comfortably either on my back or my side.
