I guess this is the OG filament sensor for the flash forge - as it was decidedly different than the one I had. my understanding is that it's backwards, which means it won't fit into the printed enclosure fitting. I have it installed and it doesn't alert to missing filament, so I disabled that via the control panel of the flash forge. I may go back and order a new(er) one, really depends. this isn't doing much short of looking pretty - or possibly I screwed the pooch somewhere else on it, but ...

I went to move my sensor that came with the printer and it fell apart and didn’t go back together well. This showed up and hasn’t come apart and works great.

Had an issue with bubbles in some ABS+ "High Speed" filament jamming up and clogging, Thinking the runout sensor was ruined I purchased this one. No issues with installation or anything. The connector is in a different location vs the original one, but it seems fine. Great price too!
