Though the product worked great, there are NO instructions out there for how to install so here is what you need to do. First is remove the original hinge. To get to the hinge, you need to pop off the side covers of the center console. Very tight fit and will need to be pulled out on the passenger side. May need to remove inner part of center console with a screw going into the side just the the upper left of the hinge. Next get old hinge out which must be aligned right with the square holes ...

Item is as described. Worked well. Fixed the armrest great.Beware of bad luck though 😦. Tough fitting it through and something slipped off into my eye making my eye bloody. Shortly after, the car was totaled with my gf in it.

I bought this for my 2002 Ford Focus. The car checker says only 2005-2007 Focus cars. They have the same armrest design through 2000-2007. It was pretty difficult to put it on myself, but I got help and it fit no problem. No more loose armrest! Wish it was cheaper though.

This item is hot trash, oversized by 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, I installed this outside in the Midwest on a cold winter day, so if it oversized in the cold, it's worse on a hot day, immediately cracked and fell apart, had to take the whole console apart to get it out. *pro tip, pull the console out of the car and do this inside the shop, you will be beatng the old out and the new in, try not to break the POS.
