Not all users need an intervalometer with sub-second resolution but if you do, this is the device for you.I have to fire two Sony A7R IV's that are mounted in an aircraft at intervals that can be specified in multiples of a 10th of a second, like 2.3 seconds. I also require that the two cameras fire simultaneously and that they record the same number images during as session. I love these I wouldn’t spend the money on a native branded shutter release this is more capable and half the price. The only thing is the cords for canon can be temperamental so I would buy extras.

The instructions are not the best and it took me a little to figure out. I have a Canon 6d mkii. I have had cameras for 50 years. From Kodak toys, Minolta 35mm, Canon 35mm, Canon dslr, and now my 6d. I have used cable releases and infrared remotes. Once I played with this remote, and watched a couple of videos, the light came on and it is easy to use. I like it a lot and it works well. I really like the price for a full feature product. Some have complained about the instruction manual but I found it better than most. Read thru a it a few times while you have the hand held on and in your hand. It will do almost anything you want. The receiver comes with two port cables to cover most DSLR cameras. You need 4 AAA batteries , 2 in each unit. Other than that it worked right out of the box. I've had a good day in the field with it, no problems.
