I bought this because I wanted to be able to add a remote control to my Sony RX100 VI.Pros:It works! I can remotely focus and take pictures.The range is good. I tested several times inside of the house, around 20 yards away and it worked.Cons:It is big! The remote that is attached to the camera is almost the width of the Sony RX100.The cable is too long, at least for what I need.The little remote has a 2 seconds timer button, which I am not sure for what, but I would be happier if it was used...

This is awesome! I have a Canon T7 1500D. The setup took me less then 15 seconds. It honestly took me longer to insert the AAA batteries, that's how quick this was. As soon as I inserted the adapter, it worked instantly. Thanks for an awesome product! Took these pics as soon as I got it going! So excited!

The media could not be loaded. I have the Panasonic GH5. I connected the cables to the receiver and camera (not specific on which side goes where since the ends of the jack are different)Right out of the box, this product seemed to work perfectly until about 8 shots in. The transmitter continues to disconnect from the receiver... I wanted to try and do selfFamily photos, just needed something so I didn’t have to press the button, run, get in position before the timer went off. Just remember to set your auto shut off to OFF, mine was on a 30 second timer for inactivity and it won’t work if it the camera shuts off. Like that it has two settings, instant worked perfectly when trying to get the dog in the portrait and just snap away to catch him looking.
