Ever read some reviews and wonder if people are reviewing the item you're looking at and if they read the manual? Forget about the reviews that say it leaves black plastic bits in their food. There's an arrow showing how to face the food spear/holder. That plastic is from them using it exactly 180 degrees off the way it is designed to work.Doesn't save time? I guess if you have almost Gordon Ramsay knife skills, sure. I don't. This thing is sharp. It cuts clean and fast. Need consistent cuts?...

It's great, super sharp and a breeze to use. However, I will say that depending on the setting you use, sometimes the food pieces do get stuck underneath and you need to use caution removing them because the blade is so sharp that both my daughter and myself received cuts to our fingers

So happy I purchased, easy to use for my arthritic hands, all the blades work without issue. Great value really appreciate the included glove as there are extremely sharp blades with slicer, and cleaning brushes are great. I hand wash individually. And it stores great in box.

This is a very nice devise and works well... I bought this to slice beets and it does a great job, if you are familiar with slicing beets they make a mess, and i'm sure they would stain the plastic models. This being stainless steel cleanup is easy.That said, this devise is very very sharp as the instructions say, always follow the instructions enclosed with the devise.
