Slicer is adequate but the number 1 cut position didn’t Alice as thin as I would have liked. Was thinking more paper thin and it have a thicker cut. Other then that the functionality was pretty good.

Love using a hand slicer as they make slicing quick and uniform. Like this one as it offers a level of protection against sliced fingers. I forget to use the cut proof glove with my other slicer and get cut too often. CR rated this one high as well.

What appealed to me most was that this was compact, and Zyliss is a quality name.There's a safety caution I will give. The plates with the various blades stack up on themselves and they can also slide upon each other, which you would understand if you had one. Be careful if you are sliding them because they grip each other firmly and can suddenly slide to where you can cut yourself. Even after I knew this, I cut myself with a tiny cut.
