Very handy tool. Use it almost on the daily. Does the break the yolk half the time, but not an issue for me. Very quick egg shell disposal without the need to touch it. Would definitely recommend this. Saw some negative reviews, but not sure what they're about because I haven't experienced any downsides.

This is a gadget that no one needs. Plus, it doesn't work. Sure, it'll open an egg. So will a knife when you rap it near the top (narrow) end of the egg -- or even make a slice. There are NO useful directions . . . only instructions on how to clean the new gizmo. There are four or five steps to using it, but any fool could figure out what to do instead of reading the directions. I read them before I began. I used two eggs. Neither one works. Now I will take it to a Christmas party and it will...

The egg cracker did crack egg BUT it failed to pull the shell apart which resulted in a mess! The eggshell was mashed, not cracked.
