This is the best tree so far. I've tried 5 other configurations and I've settled on these. I wear 10.5 to 11.0 and the large fits 10 to 11.The finish is smooth and has no sharp edges, it has a nice cedar smell.The brass knob makes insert and removal easy. This is secure without being tight.The build quality is top notch, if your have shoes you want to keep and always look their best buy these trees.

I bought a 2 pack of these Cedar Essentials (woodlore ultra style) in large along with a 2 pack of "STRATTON MEN’S ADJUSTABLE SPLIT TOE CEDAR SHOE TREE - GROWN IN USA (Large / 10 - 11 US)" trees. Let me start by saying I have a lot of shoe trees, so I am an experienced buyer. These shoe trees are attractive, with little brass (or brass plated?) knobs for easy removal. This is a feature generally seen in more expensive trees.
