I have been using Botanical Beauty’s Black Currant Age Defying Dry Oil (30 ml) and I love how two quick drops sink in fast, leaving a soft, non‑greasy finish that brightens my dull spots and smooths the tiny lines on my forehead. It layers cleanly under sunscreen and makeup, and despite my sensitive T‑zone, I haven’t seen any redness or breakouts. Great price for the size, I think I am becoming a fan of this brand, keep it up!

I ordered this black currant oil as it seemed ideal for my very dry, rough skin. It is light-weight, as promised, but I don't find it particularly effective in helping to seal moisture into my skin. And for a dry oil, it takes forever to sink in. And my skin looks and feels greasy until it finally does so. This is my first time trying black currant skincare. Although marketed as such the first INGREDIENT is actually organic safflower seed oil. It also contains some other plant oils plus vitamin E. Varying experiences for sure.In short: dry oil that leans a little oily, works well on my dry skin. Gentle. Light sheen.I find that this absorbs well into my skin. My skin leans dry. I like heavier moisturizers and oils. My skin can tolerate oily oils and dry oils (oils that tend to mimic natural skin sebum--like jojoba--, and also absorb well rather than sit on top. I apply this oil at night and it moisturizes my skin. I would not say it absorbs quickly, which is what I apply at night. A little goes a long way. I haven’t noticed any kind of mind blowing transformation, but I appreciate the moisturizer.
