Bottom line if you are using a track saw track you should use clamps, these or others, to assure the perfect cut you paid the big bucks for the saw and track to get especially if you are doing a 'scribe cut' to avoid tear out before your final cut you need to be assured the track or stock does not move. These clamps fit into bottom slot in the ends of a DeWalt track saw, and they would probably fit Festool tracks as well. They're easy to use and clamp one-handed, and the jaw opening is wide enough so that they can be clamped to a thick tabletop, or to the crossbar of a sawhorse. I have to say I am not the biggest fan of Dewalt products. As a woodworker and just an all around tool nut, I use many different brands of tools that I love and for me not many Dewalt products have lived up to their hype. These are great for the track saw and fit perfectly in my Makita tracks. I just wish that they would fit in my 20mm dog holes. The design does not allow that.My Makita, Festool, and MicroJig track clamps do both.
