This is a very unique and interesting item to me. I have been using it to light my hand-rolled bike ride buddies. No longer do I need to carry a lighter. This heating coil activates immediately after being put into the USBC port. It stays lit for about 7 seconds, then needs to be unplugged and back in again to work again. As a device to light cigarettes, it works, and works well. Now for the issues. I checked the charge on my phone, that was off, and using the lighter twice, to insure it worked, then twice to light a cigarette, resulted in a three percent drop in battery charge. So lighting up twelve cigarettes would result in a nine percent drop in power, you can do the math. Works well. Seems to start up right away (when plugged in): rather than waiting for you to blow on it, as instructed. I wouldn't advise leaving it plugged in.The clear design was neat, for only but a moment. Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great item for a bug out bag or for camping or hiking. Easy way to get a fire started. Can be plugged into usbc and powered by a phone or power bank. Heats up very quickly so no need to plug it in ahead of time. Great product. Super small and light so it’s easy to carry.
