"I laughed, I cried!" No, I was just a little confused. I was impressed by much of what I found inside the box with this vacuum sealer. It has the hose and attachments. There are unsealed bags of two sizes. There is a contents list, and a 'Quick Start' page. The page starts with "Unroll as much as you need, and at least 4" more." Except there is no roll to unroll. Oh, yeah, not on the parts list. It says stuff about the different buttons, and itvtells you to put the bag under the green baffle...

No frills (like built-in cutter, internal bag storage, or accessory container for wet foods) but very easy to use. Comes with two different sized, pre-cut, Fresko brand bags but can use bulk rolls from other brands as well. Automatic operation sucks the air out and seals the bag by simply closing the lid. Also has an “pulse mode” for vacuum sealing delicate, easily-crushed foodstuffs. Overall, a nice compact vacuum sealer for home use.

I’ve been wanting a vacuum sealer for years so I was really excited to get this. I buy meat in bulk (including roasts that I cut down to steaks) and have been using ziplock freezer bags to break the bulk up into daily portions. No matter how much air I push out of the bags before I seal them, I still end up with some of my frozen foods forming ice crystals and sometimes even freezer burn on them.
