This sword is well made and a good value for the price, it has an unsharpened edge and meant for display or acting which it would do well for both if I had to complain I would point out the knurled handle that does not look period at all and intend to wrap with leather or other suitable material but overall it is what it claims to be and there for meet my expectationsIt was bought for a Halloween costume and made sense when you look at the prices of plastic swords one like this is a no brainer

I was unlucky enough to receive a sword with a prominent seam along the handguard which ruined the appearance of the sword from certain angles (I returned it and ordered a different sword from the same company), however: the sword itself was pretty high quality in terms of construction. The finish is good, the blade is stainless as advertised, they could have put the "China" stamp on the backside, but, all is well, I'll hang it on my wall in the sheath.The frog that came with it was unexpectedly better quality than I thought it would be.Just for info, this is a prop, it's real metal, it'll last a lifetime, but it's not a real weapon.
