This item works as expected. The long handle makes squeezing easy. It extracts juice and separates the seeds quite well. I had problems with large lemons, which were too large for the size of the receptacle. I wish the device had a slightly larger diameter. But it seems about the same size as competitors models. The construction seems very sturdy, but I have not used it enough to determine how long it will last. The weak point will be the hinge, and it will be affected by how hard you squeeze...

I’ve only had experience with a couple other handheld juicers, this one is the best. It is a bit larger but it well made and feels robust and solid as has some weight to it in comparison to other brands. Because of its size and construction, it helps you get the power needed to press as much juice out at you can. The absolute BEST lemon/lime squeezer ever made!!! We've gone through at least 5 different squeezers in the past 8 years and this one bests them all by a million miles. I loved my older squeezer of this style, but two issues emerged with its aging (and my own). The coating on the old squeezer was difficult to clean the surface and scrubbing it, removed the "paint"?
