Worked as expected.

Needed them for prototyping a project. Not only for network applications, they are useful for any application that need 8 wires to be routed over a distance. Very useful, and the low price doesn't hurt.

Purchased this to replace a broken jack on my Christmas light controller (LOR). Only had to shave down the ears on the jack and after removing the broken one which I took time to desolder it fit perfectly and is now working !

So, when I got these I just thought I must have screwed up, and shrugged it off, then, I went back on to search for what I REALLY was looking for and these guys popped up again, the images are deceiving as to what they are, and you won't know until you have them in your hand and try to use them, when mounted to your PCB the jack opening is on the TOP of the device, not on the face of it, on a normal PCB project the eithernet jack would be plugging into the side of your project box, not the TO...
