First off, I would like to say these work excellent in my car .they had the perfect color frequency by my eyes. they're probably four times brighter than normal incandescent bulbs halogens. I did not have any flicker as for construction I kind of like it open so that way it cools off better. it fit in every socket that I put it in. I used them in a Prius C. These lights looked great. Just a kit to overhaul the 20 year old halogens in my (new to me) car.
