The lamp warms the candle fairly quickly and the candle scent fills the room more than when I'm burning the wick. Pretty lamp! I didn’t know that I needed one of these but I do!! No flame no smoke is great and safe around my pets too! I don’t have to worry when I leave the room or forget to turn it off. It’s amazing how it really lets the scent out in the candle. And when it is not on and you walk by the scent is there still. Nice dinner settings so it can be a mood or really provide light. Nice little addition to my room. I only wish the shade was a little larger to cover more of the candle.
