Correction to my first review...which was done far too quickly—without enough time to do adequate assessment of this item— since preparing for trip out of country. Bottom line: My 13 inch laptop fits perfectly when placed in correct slot... I did not realize looking at the diagrams of this item that the top of bag opens to slide in my laptop! UPDATE - it seems the sleeve I received either worked too well (the magnet) or I didn’t pay attention. Another review seemed to suggest that the fit was wrong which appears to have thrown me off. I should have put more effort into trying to open the main pocket which is the part that folds over. Well made and effective so far. Bought this after hearing about thieves detecting devices in cars (etc) via Bluetooth. This sleeve fits my 13 inch MacBook Pro retina, an iPad mini, and an iPhone 8 all together. Each of these devices are also in their own thin protective cases. My Bose Bluetooth headphones were not able to detect any of these devices while encased. My phone went into “no signal” mode while encased. All signals seem to be blocked pretty effectively. Put my phone in the bag. I could still call my phone. 🤨. However, upon further investigation, the actual Faraday compartment (the silent part) is NOT obvious...i.e. product needs an instruction pamphlet to go with it. This would have saved me from returning it. Bottom line. Bag is stylish and does work as advertised, but you need to "HUNT" for the tightly sealed Faraday compartment. The obvious compartment is not Faraday protected and makes you think the bag doesn't work.

The build quality of the product was really nice and it had a clean look you could easily walk into any meeting with. However, the purpose of buying this product is it's ability to block all RF/electrical signals, which it was unable to accomplish. I placed my cell phone in the bag and called it from another phone; the phone range and I was able to answer the call on my Bluetooth head set with crystal clear reception.I had high hopes for this product, but it's a total bust.
