I ordered this to mow the lawn here in Florida. It worked well to keep me cooler and soak up the sweat, but I think it's a bit longer than it needs to be and would still work fine if it was a bit shorter.

I like the design of this compared to a standard cooling towel, not only does it provide some cooling but it also protects my head from the sun. As someone else commented, this is probably better suited to someone who is bald, like me, or has very short hair, I'm not sure how effective it would be trough a full head of hair. It's just as described and expected, so at least four stars for that. Two comments, though - this and others like it do give some "cooling" effect when wet, but don't expect the cooling sensation to be anything particularly cold. Basically, it's a light, wet towel providing some shade and it can feel cooler than the air around it. Also, when I've worn this as a hoodie, the "sides" of the towel come pretty far forward on my face and can be a bit annoying to continually move back from blocking ...
