This shredder does everything it promises and is so much quieter than I could have expected.

Been using this shredder a while now and it's runs perfectly. Hasn't jammed once since I bought it, and we use it a few times a week. I love that the bin is so large so I don't have to empty it too often. It's also much quieter than my last shredder, and has a long run time before overheating. I don't think it's overheated once with our normal use.

This really will cut through 18 sheets with ease. I wanted a powerhouse shredder for a reasonable price and that is exactly this shredder. I did not expect a quiet shredder at this price range, but it is quieter than the 8 sheet amazon basics shredder it replaced. I wouldn't call it 'quiet' but the noise level is reasonable enough that I can use it down the hall from a sleeping toddler. The bin slides in and out easily, and being longer on one side of the bin lets you dump it into a trash bag...

Big fan of Big Fans

Compared with my previous paper shredder, this one is slow. Also, it has no separate input slot for compact disks and credit cards, which forces the user either to mark the position of the activating sensor with a piece of tape or to hunt for the sensor whenever shredding a small item. However, I greatly appreciate the fact that the shredding machinery is firmly attached to the frame, which makes it much easier to remove and empty the container of shredded paper when it becomes full.
