Nice suture training kit for practice. It comes with everything you need to refresh your suturing skills. It comes with scissors, straight Kelly’s, needle holders, different types of thread, surgical blades, scalpel handle, and Adson toothed and flat forceps. Oh and the suture pad, of course. I think the quality is adequate for the price except for the suture pad. After just a few practice passes, it seems to rip easily. I love the case it comes in and am glad I ordered it. The skin is very weak, mainly when practicing intradermal and subcuticular patterns. After about a dozen passes, these layers are already destroyed from taking healthy bites and the suture just ripping completely through. I cant help but think I got a defective skin pad due to how easily it rips. It does seem to hold simple interrupted and running patterns, but I do not do this in my practice often.. I would not recommend this specific kit.

Perfect starter kit for learning to suture. I want to learn for emergencies, and I'm not a medical student or anything. It's just a skill that will come in handy in an emergency. The latex "skin" is very durable and will withstand stitching over and over again. The tools look nice and work well for my amateur hands and the whole kit is nicely organized and we'll equipped. Overall, a great value for anyone who wants to learn to suture.

It's a nice, small suture kit for practice. It comes with all the necessary tools to start suturing correctly with proper tools as will be required on the job that the user will practice this for so thumbs up there. That said, you will likely need to buy more suture needle/thread refills on your own as it only comes with a few packets as the reader can see in the attached picture to this review.
