UPDATEI've definitely noticed performance improvements. When I step on the gas I can actually feel the power now. Gas mileage has gone up a little. I'd say anywhere around 2 to 5 miles a gallon. Also this will make your truck louder. I have a magnaflow exhaust system installed on a 4.2l v6 and it sounds similar to a V8 now. When I get it up in 5th gear and am going around 60-70 mpg it's loud. Be aware. All in all still, I recommend this for a quick and simple performance upgrade to any vehicl...

Installation was easy & almost totally simple. 4.2 V6 has been driven over 8,000 miles & everything works perfectly. Truly has performed better than expected. Someone mentioned its exposed air filter once it becomes dirty will cause problems. As of today, never cleaned nor observed any major dirt or debris on filter. If your original air-housing is damaged or needs replacement, this is an excellent choice.

Easily Installed on 2002 4.2l f-150. I removed some left over casting snot from inside the rubber tube and supported the filter end with an exhaust clamp but it made a big preformance difference.

I can feel a difference, i also used seafoam in my air intake to clean out some deposits, i really like the shiny look under the hood, good buy👌🏽

Has given my truck a better breathing system and increased the horsepower. She really wants to get up and go now. Would recommend this for anyone who wants to help their trucks air supply.
