I used this kit to install a single-din head unit in a 2003 4Runner SR5, replacing the factory double-din unit. I had recently purchased a different kit. The first kit, from a different manufacturer and seller, was trash. The pieces were flimsy, didn't fit together, and the instructions were unclear. This dash kit is the complete opposite. This is my first time using a dash kit to install a stereo. The instructions were very good, especially for the first steps of removing the OEM stereo.The assembly of the dash kit was easy and fit the space very well. Most of it just snaps together.The let down came when I assembled the stereo into the dash kit. I replaced the double din stereo in the 2003 Toyota Highlander I'm fixing up for my son to drive. I got a single-din stereo with Bluetooth capability, and this kit did the job of converting the space to accommodate the smaller unit. Now he has a cubby underneath the stereo for storing his phone or other items while he drives. Happy with the product. Perfect fit my the vehicle.
