The adhesive did last me up to 2 years without fail. I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol, let that dry, applied the self adhesive soap dish on the clean surface, pressed on it firmly, than I let it set there for 48 hours. Afterward I mainly used it for holding soap bars. Nothing heavy, just soap bars. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 stars, it's because it was easy to remove when I added forced with my hands. But I was afraid that it was not going to come off. I'm glad that ...

Advertise the product properly - the image does not show any manufacturing serial number yet stands out like anything. How dumb to put this on the face of the product and not on the underside where it can't be seen. Returning the product.
