I used these tools to help build a deck recently. The jig saw to make the cutouts in trex decking around each handrail post. The router to make grooves in the 1st picture frame deck board. The battery lasted well past 12 handrail post cutouts and also some routing. Battery charges in a about 25 minutes of the included charger.

These jigsaw and router have already been game-changers for me.
