These patches are a lifesaver. They’re compact enough to toss in a saddle bag and work surprisingly well for quick, no-glue tire repairs. I’ve used one mid-ride and it held up the rest of the day with no issues. Great for cyclists who want something simple and effective.

These patches work very well on mountain bikes, and I have tubes patched with more than six of these without any problems. Unlike the old "vulcanizing" patches that require thorough sanding and using glue in a tube (which is always dry by the time you need it), these come pre-glued. Wow. It's possible these things may have the drawbacks others have mentioned -- poor long term adhesion, poor adhesion at high pressures, poor adhesion from older packs... These patches work very well for small puncture holes which do NOT fall near a raised molding seam on the tube. It is very common around here to get tiny pieces of wire, which come from steel-belted tires that morons driving on flats until the tires disintegrate leave all over the roads.
