I am very happy with this purchase. I picked up a used Streamlight 45845 E-Spot from the local fire department, whose battery was last charged in 2012.Purchased a new battery and it charges and works great, but I wasn't happy with the brightness of such a large and heavy flashlight. This is the best money I think I've spent in a long time. The upgrade was very easy plug and play. The brightness of the light was easily 10 times brighter than the old lamp. The three bright LEDs shine at least a quarter of a mile and still light up objects that far away. The other bonus is that I have run it for a long time and haven't noticed any appreciable dimness or drain on the battery compared to the old light bulb. Significantly brighter with longer range and larger field of view, also improves run time. This new version is much easier to install. Just remove rubber ring, swap reflectors, plug and play rather than having to replace the whole head and rewire by soldering or splicing.

I used this along with the 6v battery (https://a.co/d/0fMpkP6) to bring 2 old StreamLight liteboxes back to life and update them at the same time. It was ~$85 per-box, but they work great and provide a lot of long-lasting light.I highly recommend these.
