If you go to the NightCore website you will find this very product in the “MULTI TASK” category! That means it’s a do all. Its not a dedicated work light, not a dedicated tactical light. The operation is simple IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! Its simple to go from off to the highest level by holding down the button. Want strobe, click the button fast 3X.Someone commented they should have put a button on the base with the magnet. Well whomever said that should have bought a different flashlight...

This thing is so bright! Several different setting and the swivel top and powerful magnet make this a very versatile light. Recommended.

It’s a really good flashlight. I’ve used it daily for almost 3 months now. The only thing that made me give it 4 stars is when I opened the box it has a piece of paper for the selling retailer to fill out to validate the warranty. I ordered from Amazon so it wasn’t filled out. I don’t know if I have the advertised warranty or not since that paper wasn’t completed.
