Near the lake there are no street lights, and a full moon lights the back yard like a huge fluorescent in the sky. This is a great light for everyday use in building inspections/engineering due to it's great battery life and brightness. The shoulder strap provides convenient and comfortable carrying and use of light. The weight is minimal for a lantern comparable to a Magcharger or 3d-cell maglight.
